Amber is the first gemstone that was used as a material for jewelry and cult objects. Amulets, beads, plates, and pieces of unprocessed amber are found in the burials and sites of ancient people during excavations. The geographical spread of those findings is quite wide, including the Baltic States, modern Ukraine, and the Mediterranean region. The vast majority of archaeological artifacts belongs to the late Paleolithic, Mesolithic, and Neolithic era.

Ukrainian land is rich in minerals. In the northwest of our state, there are significant deposits of amber, which lie on the area of thousands of square kilometers within the Pripyat amber basin. The Amber Galbin group of companies owns the right to use the most attractive amber plots in the Sarnenskyy and Dubrovitskyy districts of the Rivne region. These are 9 plots in the Galbin area between Aleksiivka and the village of Sarnenskyy district, 10 plots in Dubrovitskyy district near Krivitsa village, and 1 plot in Volodymeretskyy district, 3,1 km to the south-east of Volodymerets town.
