Ukraine is rich in mineral resources. In the north-west of our country, there are significant amber deposits located over an area of many thousands of square kilometers within the Prypiat amber basin. The Amber Galbin Group of Companies owns the right to use the most attractive amber deposits in Sarny and Dubrovytsia districts of Rivne region.
Amber is the first gemstone that has been used since ancient times to make jewelry and religious objects. During excavations, archaeologists find amulets and necklaces, as well as plates and pieces of raw amber in the burials and sites of our ancestors. The geography of these finds is quite wide: The Baltic States, the territory of modern Ukraine, and the Mediterranean. Most of the incredible artifacts date back to the Late Paleolithic, Mesolithic, and Neolithic eras.
