The past year has become a new stage of growth, international recognition and strategic decisions for the Amber Galbin Group of Companies. In the new year, we will unite honest amber miners. We will open production branches in two cities in the north of Rivne region, said Oleg Bogelsky, co-founder of the group of companies.
Our focus remains unchanged: to create products that have artistic value, build the country's reputation, and demonstrate that legal mining and processing have become the backbone of the modern industry.
Traditionally, during the year, Amber Galbin Group participated in at the Amberif International Fair in Gdansk.
At the same time, this year's key breakthrough was exhibitions in the countries of the Arabian Peninsula.
In September, we presented their products at an exhibition in Qatar. It was there that amber souvenirs by talented craftsmen attracted special attention of visitors. A local correspondent filmed a TV story, and the exhibition's daily magazine noted the artistic value of the works.
«The craftsmen have transformed amber into unique pieces that reflect the features of Qatari and world heritage: from the Imam Mohammed bin Abdul Wahab Mosque to falcons, horses and traditional boats, up to the world's largest sanbuk.».
It was in Qatar that we were invited to participate in exhibitions in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
«Oleg Bogelsky recalled that Amber Galbin presented amber sculptures associated with the culture of the Arab world: an oryx, a falcon, a horse, and a camel. These images have a symbolic meaning for the region, so the products aroused great interest among the guests.
It is important to emphasize: «Amber Galbin and its partners were the only representatives of Ukrainian amber products at these exhibitions.
In parallel with its international activities, the group of companies developed production in Ukraine. Currently, the company employs about 70 specialists in Rivne. The team includes experienced craftsmen and women, as well as veterans, for whom Amber Galbin has created priority employment conditions.
In the new year, we plan to open production branches in Dubrovytsia and Sarny, where about a hundred specialists will work. We have already partially equipped the premises with tools. And local workers who want to get a job call us.
“We have an amber land! Previously, it seems that both miners were mining amber illegally and craftsmen were creating amber products underground. Now these people are interested in working quietly, without breaking the law,” said Oleg Bogelsky.
In 2024, we started manufacturing products from our own raw materials, which closed the cycle.
“It is more efficient to produce rather than sell raw materials abroad. Yes, it is a big risk, and the profits are for the future. But we are looking a few steps ahead and plan to develop the industry in Ukraine as a whole.”
To this end, the group of companies initiated the creation of an association of amber miners. We are currently negotiating with new and honest subsoil users.
The association will start working in early January.
A separate area of Amber Galbin's work is to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, develop sports and work with young people. For us, this is part of our responsibility to the country.
