Last year, Eurotrade, a company of the Amber Galbin Group, launched the production of amber jewelry, souvenirs, paintings and icons. Thus, the cycle that starts with the extraction of raw materials has closed, ending with the manufacture of finished products.
This is not only for us, but also for the state. After all, all taxes from subsoil, including value added tax on finished products, have been paid to Ukrainian budgets.
As a reminder, legally mining amber and paying taxes honestly are our main principles. By the way, at the end of May, one of the companies classified as «white».
Thus, the Amber Galbyn Group launched amber production in a building that the state built for this purpose back in the 1990s.
Within a few months, our volumes increased several times. The products are already a success visited on international fairs.
How did you achieve such success?
Advanced amber processing
Before creating jewelry, amber undergoes special processing. For this purpose, we have purchased modern equipment that allows us to preserve the quality of the stone as much as possible and speed up the production process.
«The company purchased a whole processing line of modern heavy-duty vibratory machines in China, which have a volume of 10 to 250 liters. We have them operating in a complex for processing different grinders and, accordingly, different grinding. This is cutting-edge, and there are no other machines like ours in Ukraine,» says Halyna Usik, production manager.
A mold that is unique in the world
In addition, we use our own technology to produce solid blocks of small pebbles. Our material is certified.
«A 100% block of amber is only good if it is not treated, because it will be dark in color, and ours turns lemon. No other company uses such a unique technology. The material, firstly, does not lose its physical properties, and secondly, it retains its natural matte-transparent white hue. Customers who have bought from us have certified it in Europe for 100%.»
Halyna Usyk adds that the blocks produced by Amber Galbyn Group are more expensive due to their landscape character.
Product manufacturing: laser, 3D printer, Chinese machine tool
From the prepared amber, craftsmen make products using various tools, depending on the task. The laser is a versatile piece of equipment that we use to create both packaging and card products.
In addition, we assemble certain products on 3D printers. Automation of production can significantly increase efficiency.
«We have invested in leading European and Chinese equipment, which has allowed us to significantly increase production volumes. The modern technological approach is one of our main advantages,» emphasizes Yaroslav Bogelsky, Director of Eurotrade.
In particular, Chinese machines are patented for the production of amber balls, which speeds up their creation several times.
We train masters and hire defenders
At the same time, our handmade products are also gaining popularity.
The management of the Amber Galbin group of companies encourages and directs craftsmen to study.
By the way, he gives preference to military personnel when hiring.
«We not only support our defenders financially, but also take them under our patronage. If soldiers are wounded and commissioned, we are happy to employ them in our company so that they can feel needed, confident and socially protected,» explained Galyna Usik.
In addition, every week, employees of the Amber Galbin Group of Companies“ conduct master classes for patients of the rehabilitation center. In this way, they teach and help the military to recover.
We will open production branches in the north of Rivne region

“In 2026, we plan to open new branches in Sarny and Dubrovytsia, not far from the areas where we are currently mining amber. Each will employ about 50 people. We will primarily offer jobs to the military, as well as to women, mothers and relatives of our defenders. By the way, we have already discussed the idea of setting up clubs in schools with the education departments of the territorial communities so that children can learn to work with amber from an early age.
