Today, the heads of the main inspectorates of the regional departments of the National Police of Ukraine partially held an offsite meeting at the quarry of the Amber Galbin Group of Companies. The quarry is located near the village of Kryvytsia in the Dubrovytsia urban community in Sarny region.
Currently, law enforcement officers are holding a meeting in Rivne Oblast to share their experience. They went to the quarry to see how a solar stone mining company operates legally and successfully in a region that is famous for its "black" miners.
"It was interesting for everyone to visit this particular amber mining company, because there are certain stereotypes in Ukraine about amber mining in general and in Rivne region in particular. There are negative opinions for the reputation of the region that amber is currently being extracted exclusively in an illegal way," commented Oleksii Bochkovyi, Deputy Head of the Main Inspection Department of the Main Inspection of the National Police in Rivne Oblast.
At the quarry, Ivan Fursovych, Deputy Director of Zemresursinvest LLC, told the executives about the start of the mining company's operations and drew attention to the pros and cons of the amber legislation adopted in 2019.
"One of the most important achievements is that this year we have created our own products from the amber we extracted. That is, we have completed production! In addition, our company pays taxes to the state and local budgets, as it is legally registered here. We work closely with the local authorities. For example, two weeks ago, we donated a drone simulator to the Dubrovytsia lyceum. We send and repair vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Finally, we finance sports and science! For example, a branch of the Department of Geology and Hydrology of the National University of Water and Environmental Management operates at our production site," Ivan Fursovych told the police.
The managers were interested to learn about the company's activities and were impressed," summarized Alexey Bochkovoy.
