Group of companies "Amber Galbin contributed to the filming of a movie about the amber industry and the changes that have taken place since the adoption of amendments to the mining laws. We provided an opportunity to film the work of one of our deposits. And the co-founder of the group of companies, Oleg Bogelsky, spoke about the peculiarities of mining in the past and the amber industry today and its prospects.
«Amber Galbin opened one of its deposits for the film crew to show how legal amber mining is carried out in practice. We took part in the project to demonstrate how to work with special permits, control and responsibility.
The film crew filmed the work of our craftswomen. They explained that our full production cycle, from amber mining to the creation of artistic products, generates value added tax payments to the Ukrainian budget. In addition, taxes from this process go to community budgets and support regional development.
Oleh Bogelsky, co-founder of Amber Galbin Group, emphasized the importance of a public dialog about the industry:
«The more we talk about it, the more we popularize the topic. It is important for the younger generation to know that amber is our heritage. This will make them interested in finding employment in the industry and contribute to the development of the region's economy.».
We are convinced that legal extraction and processing means the development of the amber industry, responsible business, and the formation of a positive reputation for Ukraine in the world.
