Insect 30-40 million years old found at Galbyn field

At the Halbyn field in the Sarny region, we found an insect that is about 30-40 million years old.

It got into the resin of the ancestral trees and hardened, turning into amber. This phenomenon is called inclusion, that is, by inclusion.
In the other stone air bubbles.

Sometimes amber pieces contain the remains or whole leaves of ancient plants, various arachnids: ticks, spiders, scorpions, as well as insects - primitive wingless, two-winged ones.

This allows scientists to better study the ancient world.

Amber products with inclusions are the most expensive, especially those with insect inclusions, such as ants and spiders. Because these inclusions are difficult to find, they are especially valued.
