At the field of the Amber Galbin Group, the students of NUOGP felt like geologists. The teachers held an offsite meeting.

On May 13, an offsite meeting was held at the branch of the Department of Geology and Hydrology of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE) in the village of Kryvytsia, Sarny district. Employers, geologists and students (future bachelors of geology) consulted on how to improve the curriculum.

The heads of the Amber Galbin Group's amber mining enterprises suggested that educators introduce disciplines into the curriculum that would deepen knowledge of amber mining and the study of the subsoil of the Polissya region: "Geological study of amber-bearing subsoil", "Amber studies", "Geology of Volyn-Podilskyi plate", etc.

As a reminder, the department's branch is located directly at Zakhidkapitalinvest LLC, so after the meeting, the students visited amber mining fields.

At the field, they collected unique collections of local rocks and minerals, tested well cores, got acquainted with quarry equipment, and felt like geologists working in the field.
