Amber Galbin Group donated its amber collection to the Museum of Precious and Decorative Stones, one of the most famous specialized museums in Ukraine.

The company donated amber not as a decorative material, but as a object of science and cultural heritage. This will allow us to conserve and explore natural resources in a systematic and responsible manner.

The museum in Khoroshev has the status of a state institution and is part of the State Museum Fund of Ukraine. Its exposition is located in five halls, and the funds total about 3 thousand mineral samples from Ukrainian deposits, as well as from Europe, America, Africa and other regions of the world. Among the unique exhibits is the so-called «singing» mineral, which emits sound when touched.

According to the museum's director, Viktoria Yakovleva, amber from Rivne region has become an important addition to the collection.
«The samples are diverse - from natural shapes to souvenir ones. They have a wide range of colors: white, lemon and black,” she explained.

We have added to the collection 279 amber stones of different fractions, three amber ingots and one unique specimen - amber together with the host rock.

“I don't think any museum has anything like this. I have never seen anything like this anywhere in Ukraine. This is an opportunity to see “live” amber in a natural context,” said Viktoriia Yakovlieva.
The museum plans to equip a separate stand “Amber Galbin. It is expected to open in about a month and a half. All the transferred stones will become part of the State Museum Fund of Ukraine and will be available for further research.

«Amber is not just a raw material for jewelry. It is a mineral with scientific and cultural value. It is with this approach that we handed over these samples,» said Oleg Bogelsky, co-founder of the group of companies.

“Amber Galbin creates masterpieces from sunny stones, proving that amber has a worthy place among the world's best traditions of science and art.
