Since entrepreneurs are stakeholders of the National University, the participants shared new ideas for cooperation.
They also discussed the master's educational and professional program "Applied Geology and Environmental Protection in Subsoil Use". It was proposed to include the educational component "Environmental Protection Technologies in Subsoil Use" in the program.
By the way, opening of the branch itself of the Department of Geology and Hydrology of NUOGP at the Amber Galbin Group enterprise was an initiative of businessmen. Scientists and students were given the opportunity to conduct practical training and research at the amber deposit.
The lecturers visited the Zalissia field and established the location of the canal nearby. According to the head of the department, Doctor of Geological Sciences Viktor Melnychuk, these are the remains of a former riverbed.
