Employees of the Amber Galbin Group of Companies held first master class for the patients of the rehabilitation center. The craftsmen taught the military how to make simple amber items.

For soldiers in various units who have severe craniocerebral, spinal cord or spinal cord injuries, this can be part of the treatment that will allow them to gain resources for recovery and inner confidence, explained Sofia Hladyuk, a psychologist at the center.
"If we are talking about this workshop, about working with stones, this is work with fine motor skills. If we are talking about neurotrauma, brain injury, stroke, post-stroke condition, fine motor skills are affected, and they need to work with fingers: picking up pebbles somewhere, stringing them is a very good way to supplement the main type of rehabilitation," added Ms. Hladyuk.

At the first lesson, the patients made an amber tree and laid out a mosaic of sunstones.
Working with your fingers calms you down, and the finished product is a pleasure," the workshop participants shared their impressions.
"It's interesting. I twisted it myself (shows a tree with stones - author), and I'm trying to dress it up like a Christmas tree. This is my first tree," he says. Yuriy Yaremchuk shares his impressions.
Soldier Yuriy Yaremchuk was wounded in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, and has been undergoing rehabilitation for three months. During the class, he was making an amber Christmas tree.

The class also taught amber mosaic paintings on patriotic themes.
"This is a trial lesson. Looking at what we like, what is perceived, we will prepare our meetings with the wishes of the defenders," said Halyna Usyk, head of production at Amber Galbin Group.

The first products were left to the authors.
Entrepreneurs from the Amber Galbin Group want to not only help rehabilitate patients, but also train and offer jobs to those who are interested.
